Annette Hazen was hired as the UNM Director of Annual Giving in September 2003. Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of Campaign and Development Services, and is responsible for guiding the fund raising and support efforts provided by the UNM Foundation’s departments of Annual Giving, Children’s Hospital/Children’s Miracle Network, Donor Relations, and Research. Ms. Hazen is a UNM alumna, recipient of a UNM Presidential Scholarship, and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Following graduation, she worked at the University of New Mexico for nearly 12 years in the areas of Student Recruitment/Admissions and Alumni Relations. Prior to returning to UNM in 2003, she was the Marketing Director at Cottonwood Mall, as well as the Director of Volunteer Services at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. She has been an active volunteer for numerous community organizations.
