Larry Ryan oversees all development efforts for all UNM Academic and Athletics Departments with a focus on capital campaign fund raising and major gifts. Mr. Ryan returned to UNM in 2005, having spent the previous three years as the senior associate director of athletics at the University of Evansville. He was the UNM Lobo Club’s director of annual giving from 2000-02 during which he directed all aspects of the annual Lobo Club membership drive. At Evansville, Mr. Ryan was involved in all day-to-day operations of the UE athletics department. He directed the areas of development, corporate sales and tickets. Mr. Ryan is a 1997 graduate of California State University at San Bernardino, earning a degree in communication studies. He served one year following graduation as director of media and public relations/corporate marketing manager for the Lake Elsinore Storm, a Class A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. He then returned to his alma mater in 1998, first as marketing and promotions assistant for athletics, and then as director of development.
