Director of Marketing and Communication: Since December 2008, Jill Zack is charged with the strategic marketing communications, public relations, advertising and for developing the Foundation’s community awareness and reputation. Ms. Zack coordinates external and internal communication, oversees print and online publications and plays the major role in developing UNM’s comprehensive campaign strategy. Ms. Zack earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from UNM in mass communication and journalism with concentrations in both advertising and fine art. She is a recipient of numerous awards, including NM Business Weekly’s “Top 40 Under 40” business executives, the YWCA’s Women on the Move Award and an Associated Press Honorable Mention in the website category. Previously Ms. Zack operated her marketing consulting firm, and has held several executive level marketing positions including: national business development/marketing manager for Southwest Reinsure; founding project manager and interim executive director for Verde Studios; and founding website news producer for KRQE-TV, a CBS affiliate in Albuquerque. Ms. Zack serves on the board for JDRF New Mexico and remains active in the American Marketing Association.
