Harwood Museum of Art
Founded in 1923, the Harwood Museum of Art is the first museum established in Taos and the second-oldest museum in New Mexico.  In 1935 the Harwood became part of the University of New Mexico. The museum’s rich collection includes works from the 18th Century to the present, featuring Hispanic and Native American traditional and contemporary arts, the Taos Society Artists, American and Taos Modernists, contemporary northern New Mexico artists, and a world renowned gallery dedicated to Agnes Martin.  The Harwood Museum serves both the Taos community and the UNM academic community by presenting exhibitions relevant to the arts of northern New Mexico.  Through its active education program and public programming, the Harwood plays a critical role in stimulating learning and creativity for youth and adults, and through its archives and collection enables research and academic advancement.

Veterans Resource Center
SUB Suite 2002

Albuquerque, NM 87131

The Veterans Resource Center was founded at the University of New Mexico in 2009. The Veterans Resource Center provides the veterans with not only a comfortable place to go and talk with other veterans but a place where there problems can be solved. At the University no one can relate to a veteran like another veteran. Every employee understands the principle of unity which leads to great teamwork. With this teamwork the Veterans Resource Center has been able to give effective and professional service to each and every veteran that has walked through our doors.
