Sandie Koson, who has served as development coordinator at the College of Fine Arts for the past seven years, will retire from UNM on March 31. Sandie began working for UNM as a development coordinator for the Lodestar Astronomy Center at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in January 2000.

Sandie reports that she and her husband, Mark, who is also retiring from UNM, will live full time at their beachfront home in Baja California, Mexico. “Mark plans on getting an ocean kayak, and I will be paddle boarding on the Pacific Ocean, when we are not sitting on our patio watching the whales and cruise ships go by,” said Sandie.

If you’d like to keep in touch with Sandie or see more photos, please visit www.casakoson.com. Congratulations, Sandie! We wish you all the best!

We are sad to report one of our former colleagues has passed away.  Andrea Bromberg worked with the UNM Foundation starting in March 2002 as the development officer for the College of Fine Arts and later as part of a UNM Foundation transitional leadership team.  For those of you who knew and/or worked with her, we sadly provide this link to her obituary.
