Dean’s Excellence Fund is unrestricted support for the Anderson Dean’s initiatives. The funds are used to support students and faculty, such as assistance for students attending conferences, educational seminars, tutoring in finance, accounting and speech/writing and special projects. This fund also supports faculty to attend regional and national conferences.
Gifts support cyber security competitions, travel to seminars, conferences, hosting guest speakers and purchasing equipment for student projects. This program is the management of information security, fraud and forensic accounting with interdisciplinary focus on behavioral problems in protecting information. This fund will provide UNM Anderson Students hands-on learning opportunities within their field of study. The fund can also be used to support UNM Anderson students financially. Funds will be administered by the Dean in accordance with the school’s strategic initiatives.
Gifts to the Anderson School of Management Accounting Department will support programs such as Scholarships, Beta Alpha Psi, Accounting Resource Lab, and Internships. These businesses consider their holistic impact and seek to institutionalize responsible practices through initiatives such as Fair Trade, 1% for the Planet, Conscious Capitalism, and others.
