These funds are used for needs in the Honors Program, including an Alumni Lecture series, field-based courses and programs, equipment, and conference travel funds for faculty and students.

Pathmakers Program

The Pathmakers Program was established by students for students and is led by a four-person student leadership team consisting of a Mentor Coordinator, Communications Coordinator, Event Coordinator, and Service Coordinator. PBK Alpha New mexico Chapter

The funds are used to pay the PBK membership fees for new UNM invitees to join the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. The funds are also used to cover the expenses for events in which the student members have opportunities to network with PBK alums and to promote the student’s professional and personal development.

Rosalie Otero Honors Student Research Scholarship

One of Dr. Otero’s ambitions for the new Honors College is to establish a research center to support and fund Honors students best research projects.
