Nuclear New Mexico: Environmental and Social Impacts

This fund provides opportunities for faculty and students to engage in experiential learning and research that identifies the need for the ubiquitous presence of nuclearism in the Southwest that may impede our ability to live sustainability. Areas of focus will include multiple aspects of nuclearism in the Southwest, including environmental justice issues, environmental racism, radioactive colonialism, atomic tourism, and the global implications of “the bomb.”
