Summer Youth Sports Program Fund

Summer Youth Sports Program Fund

This program is a healthy, safe, fun summer camp for children whose families cannot afford paid summer care. It helps children and adolescents stay active, spend time with positive role models and make positive lifestyle choices. The program is run by UNM alumnus and former Lobo Football linebacker Stacy Washington, also head football coach at Highland High School. Camp activities include health and wellness education including nutrition and healthy food choices, basketball, volleyball, soccer, rugby, cooperative games, flag football, swimming, ropes, climbing, and dance.

Each “Send a Kid to Camp” donor that gives $125 or more will receive a photo from the camp. The cost for sending one child to camp is $125, two children is $250 and four children is $500. Thank you for your support!
