Jennifer Kemp joined the UNM Foundation’s Marketing and Communication Department in January 2014. She oversees the Marketing and Communication department, communication and marketing strategy, web presence, branding, and media relations. Her previous experience includes senior communications specialist/project coordinator for HeathInsight New Mexico/ New Mexico Coalition for Healthcare Quality’s Aligning Forces for Quality initiative, communications and marketing manager for Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails Inc. and positions with Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute (now CNM) and Correa Enterprises Inc./ASRC Communications Ltd.
Ms. Kemp earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from UNM, earning departmental honors (magna cum laude) as well as University honors (cum laude). She received her management certificate from UNM’s Anderson School of Management and the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) designation from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Ms. Kemp is a native to Albuquerque and is an active volunteer in the community.
