Lobos Help Lobos: Helping Those Impacted by COVID-19

The University of New Mexico Foundation has established several funds to help those affected by the coronavirus pandemic, including funds for students and healthcare workers. Your gifts to these funds can help make a difference in our community:

The UNM Hospital Crisis Relief Fund allows the University to act quickly to provide the hospital system and its physicians, nurses and staff the support needed during the coronavirus outbreak. Donations to the fund support equipment, supplies and other resources to care for patients and protect healthcare workers.

The Sandoval Regional Medical Center (SRMC) Crisis Relief Fund allows the SRMC to act quickly and strengthen the ability to help its world-class hospital system right now and in the future. Donations provide much needed equipment, supplies and other resources to protect healthcare workers and treat patients whose lives have been impacted by the coronavirus.

The Health Sciences Student Emergency Relief Fund allows us to act quickly and strengthen our ability to help health care professionals right now and in the future. Our students are dealing with unprecedented disruptions to their academic journeys including transitioning to on-line learning, experiencing significant changes in their employment, and making unexpected moves home or to other accommodations.

The Main Campus Student Emergency Relief Fund helps support students by assisting with Internet access, computer access, emergency housing, travel expenses, food, and other critical needs for students in crisis.

The Lobo Food Pantry provides free groceries to students, employees, and the greater UNM community during a monthly mobile food pantry. Donations support the costs associated with running the food pantry and help support people who need access to food.
